Had a good time, right? The staff were lovely, and that gin tasting was right up my street! But blimey, breakfast was a bit of a shambles—couldn't get a drop of milk without asking twice!

A mixed bag of experiences
The Gin and Dine experience was fantastic, especially thanks to George's engaging commentary. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was a highlight of our trip.
Unfortunately, our room was small and faced a noise issue from the bar area, making it hard to relax. The shower was also unreliable.

The large room had a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower.
The pool area could have been better maintained, which affected the overall impression.

Great vibe and friendly staff!
The staff were super chill and helpful, especially during breakfast. I loved how they whipped up my special requests! The room was comfy, but I was kinda bummed the coffee maker acted weird sometimes. The location was perfect for exploring, just steps away from the beach.

We enjoyed visiting the nearby charming Norman manor house surrounded by blooming wisteria and roses. My kids loved discovering the water adventures like scuba diving during our stay. The hotel had lovely grounds that enhanced our family experience.
My children wished for more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The room was kinda small and dark, but the bath was nice, with fluffy towels and a shower. The spa facilities were great, offering massages and body treatments that made relaxing easy. Loved the cute bar with friendly vibes, but staff seemed a bit worn out. the place had charm, just needed more attention.

missingWrote a review on 27 Maypleasant staffcomfortable bedprompt servicebroken toiletpoor transportation
The staff at Bella Luce impressed me right from the beginning. They had a positive, can-do attitude, making every interaction pleasant. I appreciated the little things, like the jug of water at breakfast after I requested it just once. The attic room I stayed in, number 203, offered plenty of space and a comfortable king-sized bed. WiFi worked perfectly, which was a relief. Luggage delivery to my room was prompt and friendly, too. Breakfast choices catered to various tastes. I couldn't resist trying everything! I ran into some issues with the toilet flush button in my room. It took some getting used to and didn’t always work smoothly. I noticed the bus service in Guernsey didn’t meet expectations. I waited at a bus stop for nearly 40 minutes, only to learn that a scheduled bus didn’t operate on school days. while there were minor inconveniences, the warm service and the cozy room made it a memorable stay.
